used a basic lightning tutorial, got the skulls off the net, and softened the pic to make them almost transparent. added the font, and animated all 5 frames with the unfreez program set at 25 cs.

Ok man, sounds good. So far it seems only the 3 of us will participate, but anybody else is welcome to join. But like you said, we have only until wednesday to submit our entries. We should just submit them in this topic, then when the deadline is up, I'll make a new topic with the poll to vote for them and add some BB Codes like the other battles. I think I know what I'm going to try to make mine's of lol Good luck guys

Ok, here's my entry. size: 500 x 100, for the bg I gave it the fire effect from the tut, then added a layer with the modified reaper, then added a few more layers of the fire effect on top of that, but with the backgrounds cut off to be transparent so that I can add them randomly over each other to give it a 3D look. Almost as if the fire is surrounding him, rather than just him being in front of it.




Please note/remember, that since this will be our final entry for this Battle, once submitted, nobody will be allowed to change it, no exceptions. So if you'd like to add a few BB Codes to your post to spice up your entry or make last minute modifications to your Sig, now would be a good time to do it before posting it, since I will add all our entries to the final voting poll exactly the way we posted them in this thread. Nothing taken out, nothing added. Good luck again people

What i did was use a lot of effects for the background I used at least every single one once. Then i used cloud and messed with the levels. After that i used pentient. and went up one level for each frame and then i animated them with unfreez and set it a 5 cs. this was just messing around with paint.NET so i dont expect it to win. Good luck to you both.

Ok, heres mine man.


I used the cover for Iron Maiden "The Trooper" obviously lol. Then i took the guy off of the cover, and used the cloud effect twice, once in orange, and once in green. Made it appear as if he is walking on the ground with a kinda orange smokey/ fire around him.
Also put a couple of tears in the flag, to make it look older and more deteriorated. Then combined all 3 layers, and added the Metal Lord font to the top and to the copyright in the bottom corner. Just simple messing around with techniques lol.

Ok, my entry. I did a couple of different colored cloud render layers, then another layer for the moon, then changed the color of the stock zombie pic and added it, then added the rain and lightning effect. Took about 85 frames for the rain/lightning effect. I now know that I should've added another cloud render layer over the moon, but I wasn't really paying attention and by the time I wanted to change it, I had already done the rain effect and I got too lazy to edit it lol Final size: 150 x 150 at 1.15 MB






So nobody else will submit? So I can go ahead and set it up.
